Never Pass a Stopped Vehicle at a Crosswalk
If a vehicle ahead of you is stopped near a crosswalk, do not pass it — that vehicle may be yielding to a pedestrian you cannot yet see because the stopped car is blocking your view. This exact scenario, sometimes called a "multiple threat" crash, is one of the more common ways pedestrians are struck despite one driver correctly yielding.
